To prove how strong our copper sinks are, I stood inside one of our 16 gauge cold rolled Rachiele sinks. I weigh 240 pounds. The bottom of the sink hardly flexed at all. Rachiele sinks will easily withstand the rigors of daily use with a garbage disposer. Many other copper sinks are made of annealed copper, which is much softer and would have warped out of shape with my weight.
